E3A ANNOUNCES NEW ASSOCIATION FOR CORPORATE TRAINERS, COACHES, AND EDUCATORS APPLYING THE HORSE/HUMAN CONNECTION
RENO, NV – The Equine Experiential Education Association (E3A) announces that it has taken its first major step in providing an unparalleled level of professional training, certification and learning opportunities for corporate trainers, coaches, educators and equine professionals who have chosen to work in what is commonly called the field of Equine Assisted Learning (EAL). EAL simply means to integrate the horse/human connection into an experiential learning experience.
As a new international membership association, E3A is committed to equine experiential education (E3) in a professional setting. E3A is offering training, certification and other resources to support the implementation of quality, professional, and successful EAL programs. These resources fill the gap for professionals who want to use experiential learning activities with horses outside of existing developmentally challenged and/or mental health models.
E3A’s certification offerings involves two training tracks, one for educators wishing to utilize experiential learning with horses in educational settings, and another for professionals wishing to utilize equine experiential education in business settings.
E3A’s Corporate certification program incorporates professional industry specific training models and tools such as E3A’s 17 Points of Corporate Herd Culture, a client-specific needs assessment, equine interactive exercises designed to improve corporate herd culture, and E3A’s 5 step executive coaching process to facilitate a winning experience in the arena with organizational teams.
“As an industry, with the launch of E3A, we are moving closer to a professional equine experiential training environment which offers clients a stronger training model, with both partners equally well versed in horses and the corporate/education environments they serve, leaping beyond the labels of “equine specialist” or “trainer’ that currently exist in the industry,” E3A President Tim Manson said.
The E3A Education certification program provides an innovative approach to classroom management, offering education industry accepted keys to successful group and individual development, E3A interactive exercises designed to engage youth, and academic learning based on reading and writing from equine history and mythology.
“E3A provides a one-stop organization for access to training, certification and resources for E3 programs,’ said Executive Director PJ Stegen. “I look forward to working with our members to develop and promote the E3 industry as a powerful, successful and professional method of learning for corporations, educators and coaching audiences worldwide.”
